Gino Valle was an architect and designer. He attended the University Institute of Architecture in Venice, where he graduated in 1948. During his long professional career, he collaborated with Zanussi, for whom he designed the plate refrigerator, and Solari, for whom he designed clocks and date markers. His digital clocks with roller mechanisms are of central importance in the 20th century and are also exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
