Product description
Vintage, mid-century, pair of curved, stainless steel/chrome-plated wall sconces, circa 1970's. The bodies of the sconces are made of metal/stainless steel, with a chrome plated finish, and some plastic/Bakelite silver-painted, E14 sockets. The design of the sconces, has nice curved lines, that finish with a twist, and sharp edges (see photos.) There is a large hole at their centers, which enable one to easily screw-in the lightbulbs (bulbs not included.) At the back of the sconces, there is a sliding wall mount system/ bracket with 4 holes (see photos), so they can easily be affixed to a wall (screws not included.) The sconces can be positioned both horizontally or vertically onto a wall, depending on one's preferences or wall space. Pieces are in overall, very good and original condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structures (see various photos.) Both sconces have been tested and are fully functional (see photos.) They have only been gently cleaned, with respect to their original patina of time. All photos taken in natural, indoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
