Vintage table lamp model Jumo 600, designed in the 1940s by André Mounique and Yves Jujeau for the French brand JUMO, in collaboration with Charlotte Perriand.
This lamp embodies the functional industrial design of the post-war period, combining chrome-plated elegance with robustness.
Selected by Charlotte Perriand for the exhibition "Le Bazar" at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in 1949, this piece has marked the French modernist aesthetic.
Description:
● Hemispherical lampshade steerable in metal, fixed to a ball joint allowing a targeted orientation of light.
● Tubular arm bent, also made of chrome metal, mounted on a circular weighted base that ensures good stability.
● Swivel joint system attached by two metal arches at the base.
● Pusher switch located at the base of the arm.
● Functional electricity with original bayonet socket. The grey feed cord and the two-pin male plug are of origin and correspond to the European standard. An adapter for Anglo-Saxon countries will be provided for sale.
The LED light bulb is provided.
