DESCRIPTION:
A unique Oriental cabinet. These cabinets are from the 70s where there was a revival of Chinoiserie. This style originated in the mid-18th century where entire castles were filled with Chinese and oriental furniture and objects. So during the 70s this kind of furniture was made and no 1 is the same. All elements are put on by hand, so it always has an artistic touch.
You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even inside. On the front and top are birds and flowers depicted with soapstone. The sides also show birds and flowers. The doors are painted inside with herons. After these paintings, everything is finished with lacquer. There are 2 cabinet spaces, the top one where a TV used to be and a cabinet space below it. In the middle there are 2 drawers (only the drawers are missing). In short, a very nice cabinet for a bohemian or Oriental home or store.

STATE:
Good condition, a few spots on the edges, these have been touched up. There are 2 small damages on the sides of the soapstone, sometimes there are also small scratches on the soapstone.(see last pictures for a better idea of the condition )

This item can be picked up in the showroom in Amsterdam zuid but can also be personally delivered throughout the Netherlands and abroad. Within Amsterdam is here € 40, - for this charged outside Amsterdam from € 40, - (Ask for a calculation)
