Minimalist gems are these Mid - Century chairs designed by Simpla-Lux, a Dutch manufacturer with a long history in minimalist furniture.
Beautifully designed and a remarkable example of mid-century modern furniture, with wood and beige faux leather. The shape of these chairs is not only beautiful, but also provides comfortable seating. The faux leather is still in very good condition, with no damage, and the chairs are very sturdy. Both chairs have an original sticker with the 'Simpla-Lux' logo.
Simpla-Lux was a Dutch furniture manufacturer founded in the early 20th century, known for its modern, functional designs often associated with the minimalist design of the 1950s/60s. The company flourished during the postwar period, producing modular, minimalist furniture inspired by Bauhaus and Scandinavian styles. At its peak in the 1960s/70s, Simpla-Lux exported throughout Europe. However, changing consumer tastes and growing competition led to the company's decline in the 1980s. The company eventually ceased operations, but its vintage designs are still sought after by collectors.
With its timeless, minimalist style, these chairs are a great addition to your dining room, living room, bedroom or office and will fit into almost any contemporary and vintage inspired interior.

Condition: excellent vintage condition with some minor signs of use/age (some minimal discoloration on the skai leather and wood). The backs of the chairs are slightly higher on one chair than the other (a difference of about 1 cm), but this can be corrected with the screws if necessary.
You can pick up the chairs in Rhoon or Barendrecht and pay on the spot with cash or a Tikkie. Transportation via Brenger is of course also an option. If necessary the chair will be disassembled before shipping.
