This beautiful mocha coffee set, consisting of a coffee pot and a milk and sugar set on a tray, was designed in the early 1970s by the Dutch ceramic artist Theo Potmeer (1942-2007). He designed this set for Cor Unum Ceramics, one of the few Dutch ceramic manufacturers that develops and produces ceramic designs in collaboration with contemporary designers. The company was founded in 1953 by the Roman Catholic Church to provide long-term employment to people with intellectual or physical disabilities. A beautiful design set in very good condition.
PLEASE NOTE: there is a small imperfection on the inner rim of the coffee pot that could be mistaken for damage to the ceramic. However, this is a natural part of the manufacturing process. If you look closely, you will see that glaze has been applied over this spot (see last photo). Coffee pot dimensions:
