Product description
Designed by Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø in the 1960s, this beautiful vintage Capella lounge chair is a textbook example of timeless Scandinavian design. The chair combines a solid teak frame with the original orange upholstery that beautifully complements the warm wood tones. The design is characterized by its clean lines, slight inclination and an elegant profile that effortlessly merges comfort and aesthetics.
The style is clearly Mid-Century Modern with a distinct Scandinavian signature. The armchair is in very clean vintage condition; the wood has been carefully cleaned and oiled, cushions have been professionally upholstered with a wool furniture fabric from Gudbrandsdalens Bardal furniture fabric.
Dimensions are as follows: height 75 cm, width 70 cm, depth 75 cm. Seat height 39 cm.
