Mid-century, vintage set of 4 burnt orange-colored bathroom accessories/bathroom fixtures from the seventies, with gold-colored end caps, made in France by Grosfillex.
All 4 pieces are made of thermosetting resin/plastic, all showcasing a nice, streamlined design featuring:
- 1 coat rack with 2 hooks.
- 1 long towel rack with two bars.
- 1 hand towel ring.
- 1 soap tray/soap dish.
All pieces in the set are in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as patina consistent with age and use over time, as can be expected for a set of this age, with some light, micro-scratches and some other very small marks of usage on some areas, none of which affects the cool look or functionality of any of them (see photos.)
- Caps have some faded gold color and tiny dots of age and time (see photo.)
- A tiny mark/chip on the rear trim of the right of the soap holder (see photos.)
- A few natural bubbles inside of the right side hook of the coat rack, as well as a minuscule mark under the side hook barely visible.
To fix the pieces on the wall:
- For the towel rack: Gently slide the 2 upper and 2 lower caps off and screw the piece into a wall (it has four (4) little holes at the back, 2 on each side.) Once mounted, slide each cap back into place.
- For the coat rack: Gently remove the 2 gold-colored end caps, slide each one of the two hooks up and off, screw the piece into the wall, then slide the 2 hooks back into position, and place the 2 end caps back on top.
- For the hand towel ring: Gently remove the two caps, screw in the piece (there are 2 holes at the back), and put back caps into place.
- For the soap dish: Gently remove the 2 caps, screw the piece into position, and put back caps in place.
- The coat rack has four (4) little holes, two on each end, so it can easily be mounted onto a wall.
