This very rare cocktail table was made in the United States in the 1970s. The striking base is composed of three brass palm leaves and mounted on a black lacquered stone base. The round top is made of thick tempered glass. The table references the Hollywood Regency era style, which is characterized by a bold use of contrasts, often with metallic and glass accents. It's a style that's meant to feel slightly exaggerated and pleasingly, extravagantly unbalanced, but elegant and modern at the same time. The original shape and organic biomorphic design make the table an exceptional part of the arrangement.
This table is in original vintage condition. It has minor scratches and scuffs on the base related to age and use. The width of the stone base is 50 cm.
This heavy and solid yet elegant chair was manufactured in Italy during the 1980s. The chair features a chrome-plated steel X-shaped frame over which black genuine leather is stretched. This impeccably constructed chair is a postmodern interpretation of classic mid-century modern style.
This chair is in original vintage condition with visible scratches, wrinkles and cracks in the leather. It has a natural patina. The seat height is 38 cm.
