A very rare bird figurine by Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg from a limited studio production called 'Fåglar' from 1964. This piece is typical of Lisa Larson's Scandinavian minimalism, featuring a simple design with attractive graphic details on the face and sides. It is signed, with no chips or cracks. The bird is made of pale grey chamotte stoneware with glazed faces and sides, decorated with brown and blue details. The design is simple yet very much of its time, a modernistic bird. It is signed with the maker's mark and is in excellent condition. The figurine is 7 cm high and about 6.5 cm in diameter.
