A remarkable and cohesive collection of original Belgian cyclocross medals, awarded during the famous "Cross du Soir" races, organized by the newspaper Le Soir.
This collection, spanning more than two decades, reflects the rich tradition of Belgian winter cycling and the golden age of sports culture in the interwar period, which continued into the years immediately following the war.
Each medal features an elegant, Art Nouveau-inspired female figure holding a victory wreath, a symbol of honor and sporting achievement. The reverse side bears the inscriptions and dates of the race, framed by oak leaves – a classic symbol of endurance and triumph. ⸻
