Rare KANDEM bedside lamp or wall lamp, model n 702 e from 1928-29. Design by Marianne BRANDT and Hin BREDENDIECK. Innovative and functional design, a wonderful timeless creation. One of the very few examples on sale. One of the most representative works of the Bauhaus. Restored copy. In working order. Completely complete. Certified first edition. Double seal on reflector for reading light or subdued night light. Reflector in ivory-lacquered sheet steel. Double joint, ivory-lacquered arm and foot. Base with metal plate and insert for wall mounting. E27 lampholder with Kandem mark and bakelite finish with Kandem logo. Very good condition. Note that it is rare to find this model with a bakelite finish marked with the Kandem logo.
