This is a vintage desk lamp, manufactured in the style of Bauhaus and industrial design from the 1930s. The design is characterized by its functionality and minimalist aesthetic, typical of the period when the emphasis was on form following function. The model is closely related to the iconic Kaiser Idell model 6551 by Christian Dell. It could also be an early version by Siemens Schuckertwerke. However, the lamp is not marked.
The lamp is entirely made of metal with a matte black finish. The construction consists of a weighted round base for stability, a curved arm, and a characteristic bell-shaped shade that spreads the light in a focused manner. The inside of the shade is in a light color to optimize light reflection. The wiring is equipped with a switch and a standard European plug.
The overall condition of the lamp is good and in accordance with its age. The object has an authentic patina that reflects its character and history. The original finish has been preserved, and the lamp is fully functional.
