Product description
Iconic Orange Slice armchair (model F437), designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in 1959. Two identical, curved elements – inspired by orange segments – together form the seat, backrest, and armrests, resting on an elegant steel frame. The result is a brilliant minimalist design that, more than 65 years later, is still regarded worldwide as a timeless design classic.
This is an early vintage example from the early 1960s, featuring a frame that is likely nickel-plated. The armchair has been professionally reupholstered with new foam and the high-quality green melange wool fabric Beck by Maharam Studio. As a result, it is once again in very beautiful condition. The frame shows light signs of wear, consistent with its age.
