Product description
Beautifully rare safari chair made by Sweden's Artek, for whom Alvar Aalto, among others, designed. Known as the safari chair, this model is coded 411. Ben af Schulten designed the chair for Artek in the 1970s.
The chair has an organically designed frame of blond beech wood, which are connected in a subtle and artisanal way. The seat and back are made of cognac-colored saddle leather that is in very clean condition after proper maintenance.
Despite its age of at least 50 years, the chair is in a very nice condition after careful cleaning and maintenance, and can be used right away.
