Vintage, Art Deco chest of drawers, circa 1950s
Dresser is made of walnut, with a rich, dark brown colored finish.
It has an Art Deco style, transitioning into Mid-Century Modern, characterized by clean lines, geometric symmetry, and minimalist, tapered legs (see photos.)
The side panels rise up higher than the top of the dresser, creating elegant design with lightness. The top edges of the panels, smoothly angle downwards, from creating a subtle; geometric slope, characteristic of Art Deco craftsmanship (see photos.)
The woodwork of the drawers, features a veneered, marquetery pattern, that creates a distinctive, "V- shaped" geometric look.
The T-bar, chrome handles, are outfitted with a striking, horizontal, streamlined Art Deco design. The contrasting, darker, reddish brown colored center strips, truly pop against the chrome, and beautifully enhance the design of the front of the piece.
Piece is in overall good, original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age, some areas of faded colors, and previous use commensurate with time, as well as patina of age and time, on the overall structure, top, side panels, edges, drawers, hardware and legs. Couple of small marks on the front right side panel/ leg. Old marks or an old repair, at the lower section of the right side panel

The three drawers are fully functional and clean, with some light marks and signs of age inside (see photos.)
Each drawers measures at: W: 67 cm x D: 33 cm x H: 15 cm.
Piece is solid and stable. It has only been gently cleaned, oiled, waxed and polished, with respect to its original patina of age and time.
