A beautifully designed Mid Century armchair is the best way to describe this model. With its distinctive design details, this armchair leaves its origins a bit of a mystery, as it is not yet 100% clear to this day which manufacturer or designer is responsible for this unique and beautiful design. Presumably a design by the well-known Dutch designer Louis van Teeffelen; on the website maintained by his heirs, this model is referred to as the A-series, and it is believed that it may indeed be a design by his hand. Condition: Present is a very fine and seemingly simple yet functional chair frame made of teak wood, among other materials, with a beautiful warm color. The overall appearance is "rich" and elegant, and upon closer inspection, besides graceful, it can even be described as impressively striking in form. The condition is very neat, the frames solid, and the upholstery entirely new—a beautiful bouclé fabric in ochre yellow, a tribute to the era when this armchair was new, yet immediately versatile and completely on-trend for current popular interior styles. A piece of furniture designed according to the characteristic organic style that typifies furniture from this early 1960s period.
