A genuine piece of Czechoslovak design history: this armchair was designed by Jaroslav Šmídek for TON, the historic Czech furniture house famous for its bentwood tradition. Clean 1960s lines and distinctive armrests mounted directly on the frame define the silhouette — a design we've nicknamed "Charles" in-house. Fully restored: the wood structure sanded and refinished with a matte varnish, available in ebony-stained or teak. Reupholstered in a thick, pleasant, stain-resistant patterned fabric in water green.
