Created in 1958 by designer Arne Jacobsen and first produced by Fritz Hansen for the lobby of the Royal Hotel SAS Copenhagen, the iconic swan's shell is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyurethane and covered with foam, while the base is made of satin-finish cast aluminum. This model is upholstered in carmine-red fabric.
