Vintage Anvia 7056 wall lamp, designed by J.J.M. Hoogervorst in the 1950s.
This distinctive lamp is designed as a counterbalance wall lamp and features an ingenious counterweight at the rear of the metal arm. This allows the lamp to remain stable in virtually any desired position.
The combination of the white metal arm with the red lacquered shade and red details gives the lamp a distinct mid-century look. The functional balance system and the long adjustable arm make this not only a unique design object but also a very practical reading or desk lamp.
The lamp is in very neat vintage condition for its age. The shade shows some color fading and the cord is slightly yellowed. Otherwise, the lamp is in very good condition.
The lamp is marked with the Anvia sticker.
