This beautiful Solo 699 chair by WK Wohnen is a real eye-catcher. The chair immediately stands out due to its characteristic postmodern design. The combination of black leather and the special, originally ochre/mustard yellow woven upholstery fabric is a striking execution.
The chair is wonderfully comfortable. The backrest can be adjusted infinitely backward, making it excellent for reading or watching television. The integrated footrest can be unfolded for a relaxed reclining position and folded away again, transforming the chair into a compact armchair. Moreover, thanks to the casters on the footrest, it is easy to move.
The Solo 699 was designed by Professor Stefan Heiliger in the 1980s and was also produced by WK Wohnen later on. This particular example presumably dates from the 1990s / around the turn of the century. The originally mustard yellow upholstery fabric has developed a beautiful, natural patina through years of use (see last photo). It is precisely this lived-in look that gives the chair a lot of character.
The mechanism works perfectly and the aluminum-colored frame is in good condition. Dimensions: Height: 74 - 90 cm Seat height: 41 cm Length: 80 - 126 - 150 cm Width: 80 cm
