The Staff company was founded in 1945 by Alfred Staff in Lemgo and was one of the pioneers of lighting technology in Germany. Numerous awards document the company's commitment to good design, which was also demonstrated by the "Design and Light" foundation set up by Alfred Staff in 1987.
