Decorative glass dome ceiling -and window pendant model 7714, by Jonas Hidle, Høvik Lys, Norway 1970s. Beautiful both as single lamp or in groups of two or more. Classic lamp with lovely light. Smoke colored glass dome with black fabrik cord and ceilingcup. Diameter 28 cm. Height adjustable 100 cm total.
Jonas Hidle (1912-2001) was a Norwegian designer with great importance for Høvik Verk. Hidle graduated from Norway's technical college in Trondheim in 1937, and served as an artist, preferably with the design of lighting fixtures. Within this special field he made a decisive effort at a time when there was need for new lighting in most public buildings in Norway.
