The sofa, commonly known as a shell, was produced in the non-existent area of the german democratic republic in the 1960s. It underwent a complete renovation, which consisted of removing the old material, sponges, belts and insects. The metal frame was then cleaned, protected against corrosion and re-painted. The next step was to stretch the new belts, put on a sponge and a sheep. The culmination of the renovation was the covering with a beautiful blue velvet with stain resistant properties. The legs were cleaned and re-painted with matt black varnish. The metal feet were polished. The furniture looks great. All stages of the renovation were carried out taking into account the original production process.
