The cubes are constructed from a sturdy, curved core and finished all around with a thick, high-quality layer of HPL (High Pressure Laminate) / Formica. This specific synthetic top layer is extremely impact- and scratch-resistant, feels very solid, and gives the set that characteristic, sleek retro look with a beautiful deep gloss.
