This unique, handcrafted vintage pouf/stool dates back to the 1960s or 1970s.
The frame is made of curved wood, with an open circular shape and three wide legs that give it a sculptural and highly decorative look. This is not a designer piece of industrial design, but rather an original, handcrafted object with a strong aesthetic and a style very consistent with mid-20th-century Italian and European furniture.
The round cushion is upholstered in ochre velvet and has a removable cover. The contrast between the warm wood tone and the ochre velvet makes the pouf perfect for vintage, boho, eclectic, mid-century, or retro interiors.
It can be used as a small stool, footrest, occasional seat, or as a decorative complement next to an armchair, in the bedroom, entryway, or reading nook.
