This original vintage sideboard from the 1960s was originally part of a high-quality living room cabinet and now stands out as a standalone piece of furniture in classic mid-century design. The frame is made of beech and spruce and finished with an elegant combination of rosewood and birch veneer. The light-colored drawer fronts create a charming contrast to the warm wood surfaces. Matte black end caps and tapered legs give the sideboard a particularly elegant and timeless look. On the left are three smooth-running drawers with original metal handles. Behind the two lockable hinged doors in the center and on the right is a spacious compartment with a fixed shelf and ample storage space. Two original keys are included. The fronts have been polished to a high gloss, beautifully highlighting the vibrant grain. An exceptional piece of furniture for a living room, dining room, or study, offering plenty of storage and typical mid-century charm. ➡️ Dimensions: 100 cm x 40 cm x 74 cm (width x depth x height) ➡️ Condition/Refurbishment: The sideboard is in very good vintage condition. It is sturdy, fully functional, and undamaged. Minor signs of age-related wear are present and emphasize its authentic vintage character. There are a few scratches and discolorations on the interior (see photos). The piece has been thoroughly cleaned. The surfaces of the top and side panels have been professionally refinished and relacquered. The remaining wooden surfaces have been intensively treated with high-quality, purified linseed oil combined with an odorless, residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This treatment particularly highlights the natural wood grain and the warm veneer. Overall, the sideboard is in very well-maintained, ready-to-use condition.
