Very large "Maxims de Paris" rectangular pocket organizer in original box, decorated with the legendary works of Henri Toulouse Lautrec, painter of Montmartre life. Lautrec was also an illustrator and poster artist for the world of cabarets and café concerts.
After more than 120 years of history, Maxim's has become a truly legendary universe, and today stands out as one of the most famous and mythical French brands, thanks to its priceless historical heritage.
Maxim's is the symbol of celebration, elegance and refinement.
It was Eugène Cornuché, maître d'hôtel, who gave the restaurant its worldwide reputation at the 1900 Universal Exhibition. Calling on the fashionable artists of the Nancy School, he transformed the establishment into a veritable temple of Art Nouveau, now listed as a "Monument Historique de France".
