A rare and glamorous vanity dressing mirror, designed by Alain Delon for Maison Jansen around 1970. This exceptional piece carries Delon’s signature on the reverse, confirming its authenticity and making it a true collector’s item.
Standing at an impressive 196 cm high and opening to a width of 132 cm, the mirror has a commanding yet elegant presence. Its three mirrored panels fold gracefully, enveloping the viewer in shifting reflections and perspectives. The frame is crafted in wood, lined with powder-colored fabric, giving it a soft, refined texture, while the brass framing and feet add warmth and luxury in classic Maison Jansen style.
Delon, celebrated worldwide as one of the most iconic French actors, collaborated with Maison Jansen during the 1970s to produce a small collection of furniture and mirrors that embody the same cinematic glamour and elegance that defined his career. Very few pieces were made, and signed examples like this are especially scarce.
