Product description
Rare decorative ceramic lamp signed Vallauris, depicting a large stylized seashell forming an interior marine scene reminiscent of a miniature aquarium. The relief composition features multicolored fish, coral, and a starfish, with gilt highlights. The interior is glazed in a vibrant red, diffusing a warm and spectacular light when illuminated.
The base is signed “Nice,” Vallauris Côte d’Azur production, circa 1960s/70s. It is illuminated by an internal bulb and is in perfect working order. Wiring is present, and the lamp is ready to use.
Dimensions: 25 cm long, 13 cm wide, 22 cm high.
Condition: Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, gilding is intact, glaze is glossy, and the lamp functions flawlessly.
A striking decorative piece, highly representative of vintage Mediterranean style, ideal as an ambient lamp, for coastal décor, retro interiors, or as part of a Vallauris collection.
