Some more information about annagreen or uranium glass:
Between 1870 and 1940, uranium or annagreen glass was produced on a fairly large scale. Because uranium glass is rarely produced anymore, it is a popular collector's item. Uranium was usually added in small quantities so the green or yellow glass fluoresces under ultraviolet light. It was mainly used in lamps, bowls, wine glasses, etc., by glassmakers including Leerdam, Scailmont, Doyen Glass, and Val Saint Lambert.
