The S320 dining chair, designed by Wulf Schneider and Ullrich Böhme for Thonet in 1984, is a perfect example of a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity. The furniture combines a solid construction of beech wood and steel, and its navy blue upholstery stands out with its expressive character. Thonet, an icon in the world of design, has been associated with innovation and quality for decades. He gained particular recognition thanks to the mass production of bent furniture, which changed the way furniture was perceived. The presented model refers to these traditions and at the same time fits into the Memphis style that reigned supreme in the 1980s.
