This striking accent lamp is based on a ceramic vase with a handle from the 1960s/70s. The manufacturer is not definitively identifiable, but the design and glaze clearly identify it as belonging to West German Pottery.
The vase features a classic, bulbous shape with an elegantly curved handle and a deep red, subtly iridescent glaze. The surface appears vibrant depending on the light, giving the lamp a warm and powerful base.

The lampshade is covered with handmade paper. The variety of colors—from green, blue, and yellow to warm reds—is reminiscent of splashes of paint or an artist's canvas. When switched on, it creates a particularly vibrant, almost luminous effect.
Conversion to a Lamp (Preserving the Object):
The vase was converted into a lamp without altering its original structure: no drilling, a reversible plug-in solution, weighted for stability. The original condition is completely preserved.
