A striking UP7 foot sculpture by Gaetano Pesce for B&B Italia, part of his iconic UP series. Shaped as an oversized human foot, the design transforms an everyday anatomical form into a bold and highly sculptural object with a strong Pop Art character.
Executed in molded polyurethane with a deep black finish, the exaggerated scale gives the piece an impressive architectural presence. Both playful and provocative, UP7 works equally well as a sculpture, statement piece or unconventional design object.
About the Designer
Gaetano Pesce (1939–2024) was an influential Italian architect, artist and designer known for his experimental approach to materials, form and mass production. His work frequently blurred the boundaries between art, furniture and sculpture, with the UP series becoming one of his most recognizable contributions to radical Italian design.
