Beautiful unique pendant lamp from the 1950s, the original Louis Kalff by Philips. Excellent condition considering the year of manufacture.
Purchased by my parents around 1960, and since 1994, it has been illuminating my home and heart.
This so-called lantern lamp features a characteristic mid-century modern or Space Age design, popular in the 1950s.
It features a shade of opal (milk) glass and lacquered metal—in this case, a light blue tint—with brass accents.
Looking for a new owner for this beautiful lantern from renowned Dutch manufacturer Philips.
