This unique vintage Louis XV style armchair has been completely restored by hand and transformed into a one-of-a-kind statement piece. The chair was carefully stripped down during the restoration process. The wooden frame was repaired, reinforced and refinished in black. The upholstery was completely renewed, and the seat was rebuilt using upholstery foam. The seat and armrests are upholstered in genuine leather, while only the decorative Frida Kahlo panel on the backrest is made from faux leather. Black decorative trim completes the design and highlights the elegant shape of the chair. The entire restoration process is documented in the photos, showing the chair before, during and after the work. This is a unique, handmade piece – only one available.
