Product description
Six pieces of the famous REX folding chair by Slovenian designer Niko Kralj (1920-2013). The REX design dates from 1953 and is considered a design classic of the twentieth century. The chair is displayed in museums in New York and Copenhagen, among other places. The REX is still produced, but the 1960s and 1970s versions, made of layered beech, are highly sought after by enthusiasts of minimalist furniture designs from the post-war period.
This set of six is in very good condition, with very minor signs of wear. The wood has hardly discolored. The construction of all six is sturdy. Folding is easy.
The asking price is €175 per chair or €800 for all six.
