Offered for sale: A beautiful and distinctive set of two vintage wooden armchairs in a unique eclectic design. These chairs were designed in the recognizable Danish Brutalist / Mid-Century Modern style (in the style of Henning Kjærnulf) from the 1960s/70s. The chairs stand out due to the perfect balance between robust craftsmanship and a modern, colorful appearance. Features & details: Material: Solid oak frame with beautiful organic shapes and curved armrests. Details: Featuring the iconic openwork clover/teardrop shape in the side panels and elegant, artisanal woodcarving on the front. Upholstery: Colored fabric with a stylish vertical stripe pattern (orange, turquoise, green, beige, and black). The fabric is in excellent, clean condition and is wonderfully comfortable. Quantity: Sold exclusively as a set of 2. An absolute eye-catcher that fits perfectly in a vintage, bohemian, or sleek modern interior! Condition: The chairs are in good and solid vintage condition. The colorful upholstery is neat, taut, and clean. The woodwork is sturdy throughout. Note: The chairs have received some maintenance over the years to keep them functional and stable. As can be seen in the detail photos, one of the armrests has been touched up by hand following old damage (making it slightly slimmer/rounder), and a wood joint at a front leg has been secured extra firmly with a metal bolt. As a result, the chairs are structurally 100% stable and ready for immediate use, but we prefer to mention these worn vintage marks upfront for the sake of completeness.
