Marek Wróbel.
Born in 1956, lives and works in Gdańsk, Poland.
Polish painter, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (1984) under the direction of Professor Kiejstut Bereźnicki. His oeuvre is characterized by an expressive, spirited style in which color, energy, and movement are central. This representative of Abstract Expressionism offers unique works with complex compositions, created by the artist using diverse, often intense colors and sharp, dynamic brushstrokes. As a painter, Marek Wróbel displays his incredible temperament and artistic exuberance in his work. He draws inspiration from nature, making it easy to recognize landscapes, vegetation, and mysterious watery depths in his atmospheric paintings.
Wróbel combines figuration with abstract elements, often inspired by nature, water, and landscapes. His paintings are distinguished by powerful brushwork, layered textures, and intense use of color. His work is included in numerous private and public collections, both in Poland and internationally. 2000 - Triada Gallery, Sopot.
