This French garden set consists of a round table and four matching chairs, made of cast iron. The design is characterized by elegant, curved lines and a classic look typical of traditional French garden furniture. Year of manufacture is estimated to be early 1960s.
The set features a cream-colored lacquered cast iron frame, combined with striking red upholstery on the seats, backrests, and tabletop. The red upholstery is stretched over wooden chipboard and, in this version, cannot be left outside in the rain. The table has decorative details, including an elegant leaf motif on the legs and curved elements along the edge of the top. The chairs have a round seat and a heart-shaped backrest.
This garden set is an attractive addition to a conservatory or a covered terrace. The combination of the light frame and the red accents creates a lively contrast that fits well with a romantic or rural outdoor space.
The garden set comes from an inheritance from an aunt and uncle and has always been kept indoors. As a result, the set is in good condition, except that the glass plate on the table is missing. However, this can easily be ordered online for around 100 euros, for example from Glasgigant.
