The character himself carries a moving origin story: based on a real rescue cat from a veterinary clinic that served as a blood donor and was later adopted by the founders . Bolton transforms this emotional narrative into visual poetry through her hand-painted rainbow sakura flowers that "cascade" across the transparent vinyl surface.
