Beautiful 1950s typing desk by Italian designer Gio Ponti. A rare design piece by Gio Ponti, one of the most important and prestigious post-war Italian architects and designers. This small desk is made of wood with a back-painted glass top. The desk has four front drawers, a pair on each side. Dimensions: (H) 65 x 89 x 44 cm. The desk is in good overall condition, with minor material defects due to age and normal use. Minor scratches and dents consistent with the age of the two pieces.
