An unusual Bossche school table from the 1960s with a raised edge top surface. It clearly comes from an ecclesiastical setting where it may have been used to store candles or other vestments. Nowadays it would possibly work as a bathroom or kitchen table/ storage unit. The table was designed according the 'Plastic number' system of Dom Hans van der Laan and according to the colour wash palette of Bossche School furniture (a thin warm grey wash).
Good original condition with minor superficial signs of age and use only.
