A set of two Gispen Model 1401 armchairs, designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954. This iconic design combines a minimalist silhouette with functional comfort, characteristic of post-war Dutch design.
The chairs feature a black lacquered metal frame and black fabric upholstery. The clean lines and distinctive armrests emphasize the industrial aesthetic of the 1950s. The original Gispen label is present on the underside.
This set is in very neat condition and retains its original character. The chairs fit perfectly into a modern, industrial, or vintage-inspired interior and make a stylish addition to a seating area or study.
