This refined pair of small vases was manufactured in China during the period 1950–1980 and is characterized by the use of wafer-thin eggshell porcelain. The objects stand out for their elegant, slender silhouette and the detailed, hand-painted decoration that reflects the rich tradition of Asian ceramics.
The vases are made of white porcelain and decorated with a delicate floral and bird motif in soft shades of pink, orange, and green, framed by a refined blue decorative rim. With a height of 20 centimeters, they display the exceptional fineness and translucency characteristic of eggshell porcelain. The underside features a blue mark confirming their origin in China.
