Authentic antique thread cabinet by the renowned brand Troïka, dating from circa 1930. At the time, this type of haberdashery cabinet was used by shopkeepers as a counter display for sewing thread. Features & Condition: Drawers & Interior: The cabinet has 5 sliding drawers. Unique: ALL original wooden dividers/partitions for the spools of thread are still present! Glass: Very important: ALL 5 original glass fronts are still 100% intact and present. No cracks or chips. Lettering: The original brand name 'Troïka' is still very legible throughout. This gives the cabinet its authentic and valuable character. Handles: 3 handles are currently missing (2 original ones are still present). This can easily be remedied by an enthusiast using old knobs, but the price has been adjusted accordingly. Condition: The cabinet is in beautiful, weathered vintage condition with a lovely patina. The wood is completely original and has not been repainted.
