Elegant set of three vintage wall sconces dating from the 1970s.
Each piece consists of a metal frame painted gold with its original patina, paired with a cylindrical Perspex (PMMA acrylic) diffuser with a "crushed ice" effect. This material, emblematic of 1960s-70s design, provides a soft, shimmering light.
Originating from a former hotel in Ariège, these sconces perfectly illustrate the functional and decorative design of the era, a blend of modernism and space age influence.
In good overall condition, with a small chip in the Perspex on one of the globes and a small missing assembly nut (see photo).
The bayonet sockets are original and functional. The cables and terminal blocks have been replaced (new).
Ideal for a decorative project, a vintage interior, or a professional space (hotel, restaurant, etc.).
Dimensions: 23 x 28 x 12 cm / Globe only: 9 x 16 x 8 cm / Metal frame: 23 x 18 x 12 cm.
