This set of four TON 'Ironica' dining chairs brings the rich history of the bentwood technique to the contemporary interior. The design is a direct continuation of the legacy of Michael Thonet, the pioneer of bentwood furniture, combining a timeless silhouette with artisanal quality. The chairs are crafted from light, untreated wood and feature the characteristic spindle back that creates an airy and elegant appearance. They are produced in the original factory in Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Czech Republic, where bentwood production has been taking place since 1861. The chairs bear the original TON brand and label, confirming their authenticity and provenance. The set is in very beautiful condition and has retained its original, light finish. The construction is sturdy, and the chairs display a character befitting careful use. These chairs fit perfectly into a Scandinavian or modern interior and look stunning around a wooden dining table.
