This is an iconic Tomado wall rack, designed by Adriaan Dekker in the early production period of the 1960s–1970s. The modular system is a classic example of post-war Dutch design, beloved for its minimalist and functional aesthetic.
The rack is made of metal and consists of black wire steel side panels with shelves in the characteristic colors black, blood orange, and off-white. The dimensions are 111 cm wide, 69 cm high, and 21 cm deep. The shelves bear the original 'Tomado-Holland' embossed mark, confirming its authenticity and early production.
The wall rack is in good vintage condition, retaining its original character and functionality. The colors are still vibrant and the system is fully complete.
