Superb dining or center table designed in 1974 by the design duo Afra & Tobia Scarpa for the Italian manufacturer B&B Italia.
It stands out for its base upholstered in patchwork cognac leather and its exceptional Iranian red travertine top (orange-red color), whose spectacular grain gives the piece a strong decorative presence.
Documented in the book Design Italiano 1950-2000 (p. 224), the "Tobio" perfectly illustrates the blend of architectural rigor and noble materials, typical of the Scarpa family.
